Income / Expenditures / Current balance - May expenses were donations (Bruce Beimesch, USHA Nationals raffle) and income received came from league fees and merchandise sales. Current balance of the GCHA checking account is $8875.99.

George Coleman Memorial - The fund increased to $ 301.00. Mike Reilly reports that currently, Green Township is planting no new trees in Veterans' Park, but that this policy is scheduled to be reviewed by them soon. Mike also reports that we are on the list to have George's Korean War Veteran's flag flown at the park.

Bruce Beimesch Memorial - The Saint Vincent dePaul Community Pharmacy sent a letter acknowledging the GCHA donation in Bruce's memory, and described some of Bruce's work for that organization. An acknowledgement card was also received from Bruce's family. Both letters were posted on a memorial page on the GCHA website.

Reds Game - George Lehocky provided the Board with a detailed financial report of this year's Reds outing. David Kent moved to reimburse George for the tickets provided gratis to friends of the GCHA, one ticket to Miami U. student Kevin Albertson and two tickets to Pat Carnes of the Central Parkway YMCA. The Board approved the motion.

Legends Tournament - George Lehocky asked that this item be removed from the Board agenda. Board members agreed unanimously.

3-Wall Courts Update - Mike Reilly reports that Green Township has declined to follow through on the suggestion to install a rinse shower in the area between the 3-wall courts and the sand volleyball court. There is an active proposal to build a new facility, including showers, in the lower parking lot of the Green Township facility, to accomodate needs of the maintenance workers; the township is willing to entertain a proposal for GCHA use of that facility, if approved.

Summer 3-Wall Doubles League, Veterans Park - Play continues in the summer league, with 6 teams in 2 divisions. A proposal was made by Mike Reilly to set up a second league, to start play in July. Members of the Board supported this idea. Jim Krailler will post a sign-up form on the web, solicit players, and set up the schedule for the league, presuming there is sufficient interest. Play will begin sometime in July.

Update, Larry Gray - Reports are that Larry's surgery has been successful and that he's currently in the recovery/healing process and expects to be back on the courts soon.

Memorial Doubles Tournament - Deferred. See Regional Report, below.

Board

ACB Fundraising - USHA has severed ties this organization, after 18 months, due to lack of tangible progress on meeting their stated goal of raising $4.1 million for targetted programs.
