of the income were discussed, with final determination to be made
at a future date.

Bruce Beimesch Memorial Golf Outing - Mary Beth
Beimesch did send information about the annual Bruce Beimesch Memorial
Golf Outing, with proceeds benefitting the St. Vincent dePaul Community
Pharmacy. This announcement was followed just a few days later by
a cancellation notice.
Member Survey - Jim Krailler proposed that the GCHA
post an online member survey, to gather input for the incoming 2006
Board. All GCHA events would be listed, asking members opinion about
how important the event is to the organization, and how often they
attend each of the annual events. Opinions could also be solicited
about the makeup of the Board, the amount in the current treasury,
membership dues, etc. Jim will develop the survey, and bring a draft
to a future board meeting.
Summer InterCity 3-Wall League - Mark McCoy and
Steve Dykes have proposed a summer league, with teams representing
Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati. Play would be held on
Saturdays in the various cities. More details will follow if there's
enough interest in the idea.
GCHA Summer 3-Wall League - GCHA is contemplating
a 3-wall league, but needs someone to volunteer to be the league director.
A posting was suggested to have members sign up now, if interested.
Matches will start sometime after the next Board meeting, June 1.
As in past years, an A and a B league is suggested. There will only
be one round of matches, with a playoff of teams #1 and #2 in the
standings for the championship . A $10/person entry fee would cover
expenses of an end-of-league party and awards, to be announced later.
Basketball Hall of Fame Induction - John
Love has asked that notification be posted for the Cincinnati Basketball
Hall of Fame inductions ceremony, as two handball players are set
for induction: Joe Nuxhall and Al Sicking, from the Central Parkway
YMCA and University of Dayton basketball team.
ShortLine Deadline - The deadline for the
Spring edition of the ShortLine is June 15th, with publication deadline
of July 1, 2005.
Other -
DVD Sales - Jim Krailler announced that DVD copies
of the two finals, videotaped by the Waycross Community Media group,
are now available. Featured matches, on separate discs, are the 45+
finals between David Steinberg and Scott Kelly, and the 50+ finals
matching Roger Berry with Danny Carrillo. Copies are $5.00 each to
cover expenses. An order form is posted on the website.
