Winter ShortLine - Deadline for the Winter issue of the ShortLine passed with no articles submitted. Board members agreed to poll the membership at-large about the continuation of the ShortLine. Bob Burkitt volunteered to handle printed updates to those few members who have expressed a need for postal mailings.

Red's Tickets - George Lehocky has purchased 35 tickets for this spring's GCHA Reds outing. The Reds play the Chicago White Sox on Friday, June 16th at 7:05 pm. Tickets are $20.

Boys & Girls Club Program - The following email was received from Ralph Weil on 1/23/06. The program is having problems, and probably will not need the $300 previously allocated.

Since I have not heard from any of the Athletic Directors about the handball program, I believe it is on the wait-and-see list. When you are ready to proceed with a handball program, please contact me or any of the other men who have offered to help.

Ralph Weil

College Team Update - Paul Baker hosted 22 student players from UC, Miami, Dayton and Springboro on Saturday January 28th.

Madeira Courthous event -- Courthouse Handball and Fitness Center hosted a handball / raquetball event for Breast Cancer on last weeekend of January.

GCHA Mission and Vision Statements - Another lengthy discussion centered regarding the rationale behind the wording of the mission statement. Will Straw and Ron Rosselot will refine the proposed GCHA statements, and circulate to all Board members prior to the March meeting.
