Reds Game - George Lehocky is waiting receipt of tickets. To recap from last month, George will attempt to get tickets for the Reds v. the Chicago Cubs on July 27th. He wants to purchase 35 tickets for the game @ $24 each. If those tickets aren't available, the second choice will be Friday, June 29th v. St. Louis Cardinals. George will attempt to again get "Moondeck" tickets, and the Reds are marketing both games as "premier" events, at a higher ticket price than other games, and higher than previous years. David Kent proposed subsidizing tickets @ $4 to keep ticket price at $20. After a short discussion, the motion passed, 7-2.

Sponsor Recognition - No report has been received from Ron Rosselot.
Board Resignation - Jim Krailler, Webmaster/Secretary submitted a letter of resignation to the GCHA Board effective immediately.
It was accepted with regret by the Board. Dave Kent appointed a committee of Jack Dean, George Lehocky, and himself to handle the transition of Jim’s responsibilities which included but were not limited to the GCHA website, GCHA Secretary and merchandise sales. A meeting has tentatively been scheduled during the week of 1/7/07 with Jim and the Committee to discuss a transition of responsibilities. The Board members present conveyed a collective feeling of deep loss to the Board by Jim’s resignation and discussed some ways to appropriately recognized Jim for his significant and valuable service to the GCHA over an extended period of time. More to come.
