Treasurer's Report |

Balance $13,075.83. Income derived from 08 membership drive and entries in and sponsors of the 07QCO. Anticipated bill for GCHA headbands of about $500.

Membership
Report |
|
2008 membership drive has resulted in 65 members. Continue to receive replies to the mailing. Each Board member is encouraged to promote membership. Goal is to increase membership from 101 in 2007 to at least 130 in 2008.

- 07 Queen City Handball Tournament
- Approximately 65 entries.
- All sponsors, except Amerisuites, have paid up. David Kent to follow.
- Sam Peters – Miami Systems Corporation - $500.00.
- Ron Rosselot – Rosselot Financial Group - $250.00.
- Rick Garcia – Cincinnati Restoration Church - $300.00.
- Jack Dean – Jack Dean Construction - $500.00.
- Amerisuites - $300.00
- A review of the tournament assignments list was done and all seemed to be done or covered. Tournament will end on Sunday, December 9, 2007.
- College Handball/New Player Development
- Miami of Ohio out of school 12/15. Won’t attend Saturday session during that time period.
- 3 Wall Maintenance
- Bob will inspect the courts prior to the annual Blue Ball Tourney scheduled for 1/1/08.
- Publicity
- Mike Dau’s Visit
- Postponed discussion until next meeting.
- Old Dudes Day
- Age limit for tournament has been changed from 60 to 50. One paid entry received via GCHA mailing. Will take place December 29 at Waycross.

New Business |

- GCHA Website
The GCHA website was discussed and a proposal was made to create a Blog Page.After a discussion period, which included a definition of a Blog, its purpose, and how it could be used and abused , a motion was passed (6 yes – 1 no) to create a Blog Page for the GCHA website. Jesse Krailler, who initially suggested the proposal, will be asked by David to create the Blog for a trial period of 60 days and limit Topic introduction to Board Members only.
- Bob Hiance
Bob continues to rehabilitate and has moved back to Northern Ky. The Board expressed its delight at Bob’s planned attendance at the 07QCO on Saturday with his family. Bob’s son, Trey, will play in the tournament.
- Board Membership
Bob Burkitt announced that Pat Schuler will join the Board in January 08.
