From the Shannon airport, the
coach followed the route of the coast of County Clare.

This impressive wall of rock
rises to almost 700 feet above the foaming Atlantic breakers and
runs 5 miles in length.
Leaving Mohrer, the trip continued
on through the Burren Country, a region of rounded limestone hills.

Passing through one of the villages, Tommy
pointed out the smallest house on the island. Only one room wide,
a "For Sale" sign hangs above the door.

Outside the city of Galway is Galway Bay.
After we checked into The
Clybaun Hotel, we had the afternoon at leisure. Some went to
the workout room, some slept, some browsed the city, and a few hit
the hotel pub.
