Queen City Tournament, December 7-9, 2007
 
This year’s Queen City Tournament found 75 entrants competing in 12 divisions (eight singles and four doubles).  Besides the Cincinnati and Dayton areas, participants came from Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus, Indianapolis, Lexington, Missouri, Oklahoma City and 14 college players took part, seven each from Miami U. and the University of Cincinnati.  Some of our newest handball enthusiasts have benefited greatly from the Saturday mentoring sessions that take play at the Athletic Club @ Waycross, venue for this year’s tourney, including the four who played in Juniors and the seven who played Novice.  Tournament Director, Jack Dean, was pleased with the turn out and level of play.  Thanks to all who participated or helped out as volunteers with special thanks going to our hosts, Paul & Beth Baker, our caterer, Alma Dupps, and to our tournament sponsors:  Jack Dean Construction, Miami Systems Corporation, Rosselot Financial Group, Cincinnati Restoration Church and AmeriSuites, Cincinnati North.
