The PAC had three handball courts along with other athletic facilities. The PAC was built about 30 years ago and has been regularly used by handball players. The PAC building will be transferred to another university use.

On December 14, handball players played handball during the noon hour one final time, and then assembled at a nearby restaurant for lunch and reminiscences of fun times had in the retired facility.

On January 4, 2006, the University of Dayton will open a brand new, state-of-the-art recreation facility to be known as the Rec-Plex. Like the PAC, it will have three handball courts.
