Important Announcement from Tournament Director Steve Dykes

To all concerned,
Announcing that the Tournament Director(s) have decided to open the 2003 Ohio State Handball Championship to all entrants, regardless of residency. We have received many requests from outside of Ohio handball players and have received support for the motion from many in the state. So, in an effort to foster the best tournament possible and welcome as many players to the great state of Ohio, we accepting entrants from all points east, west, north (Canada), and south.
Thank all of you for showing such an interest in playing handball in Ohio; I look forward to seeing you in Newark (Ohio, that is.)

Deadline	Entries must be received no later than: Payment must accompany entry.	Monday, February 10th, 2003
Divisions	Singles Open Singles * A Singles B Singles C Singles 40+ Singles 50+ Singles 60+ Singles Women's Singles * First round losers of Open and 40+ singles drop to A Singles.	Doubles Open Doubles B Doubles 40+ Doubles 50+ Doubles 60+ Doubles Juniors Doubles We reserve the right to combine divisons or change format, based on number of entries

Eligibility	Residents of any state or nation are eligible to play	Entry form on separate page
Guidelines	2 games to 21, 11 point tiebreaker if needed.	USHA Red Label will be used. Eyeguards must be properly worn at all times
Location	Advantage Club 1845 West Main Street Newark, OH 43055-1135 740-522-8324	Maps, directions and list of locals hotels available on a separate page.
Hospitality	Food and drinks all weekend.	Banquet Saturday night at the Advantage Club.
Officiating	Non-winners must referee a following match	Volunteer referees are always welcome.
Starting Times	Play begins Friday, February 14th at 6:00 pm.	Call Advantage Club, 740-522-8324, after 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 19th.
